TeensActivity activities

  1. Kick-off Meeting: The project starting with a comprehensive kick-off meeting, setting the foundation for project planning and team alignment. Team members introduce themselves, define roles, and establish a shared path for project implementation.

  2. Activity Session Workshop: A workshop designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, execute, and lead engaging activity sessions for girls aged 10-16. The focus is on safety, effectiveness, and fun.

  3. Research Local Sport Activities: Over a six-month period, partner organizations engage in local activities tailored to their expertise such as teen fitness, running, cycling, dancing and non-contact box. 100 teenage girls aged 10-16 participate, with their progress and well-being monitored using fitness trackers, body composition measurement tools, and nutritional guidance.

  4. Mid-Term Meeting: A mid-project evaluation meeting takes place, reviewing progress, ensuring alignment with goals, and preparing for the subsequent activities. It's an opportunity for assessment, adjustments, and planning for the remainder of the project.

  5. Dissemination Activities: After the mid-term, partners conduct dissemination events to showcase the achieved results and positive transformations witnessed in the participating girls. These activities promote the project's alignment with Erasmus+ sport principles.

  6. Final Evaluation Meeting: The concluding meeting of the project involves a comprehensive evaluation of all activities undertaken. A retrospective analysis of achievements, challenges, and lessons learned is conducted. The focus extends to the continuation of promoting outcomes via social networks.

These activities are strategically sequenced to create an inclusive and accessible environment, engaging 100 teenage girls aged 10-16, including those with fewer opportunities.

TeensActivity results

Our work together on this project has produced important outcomes that support our goal of encouraging active lifestyles and empowering teenage girls.

Research Report "Teenage Girls & Sport Activity": This detailed report brings together what we've learned from each partner's activities over six months. It doesn't just show the progress we've seen, but it also includes short reports from nutrition experts. We also compare what things were like before and after the activities to see the whole picture.

Parent’s Guide for Active Girls: We understand that parents have a big role in helping girls be active. So, we made a short guide, up to 5 pages long. It talks about the challenges girls face when being active and the good things that come from being active. It gives practical advice for parents to help their teenage daughters stay active.

Teenage Nutrition & Healthy Eating Guide: We want to help teenagers learn about living healthy. This guide covers important topics, like how our bodies work, how food and activity are connected, picking healthy foods, staying active, getting enough sleep, and making lasting healthy habits.
